A Doula Provides Professional Labor Support
Every parent deserves support, encouragement, and a little pampering
during this profound, life-changing event: the Birth of their Child.

As your doula, I will:

Get to know you and your personal preferences and beliefs.
Support any birth option that is right for you.
Be a personal guide in developing a birth plan.
Facilitate communication between you and medical staff.
Support your family throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.
Advocate for you during labor and delivery, freeing you to do your work, and your partner to do what they do best - to love you.
Tend to the details.
Hold the space for you and your family - that is, maintain an atmosphere of respect and honor for the profound rite of passage and transition of birth.

Doula Services ($350 +tax):

Two Prenatal visits, including birth plan assistance if needed.
Attendance during labor and delivery (on-call 24 hours).
Birthing From Within or Birthin' Again Childbirth Class
Breastfeeding counseling
Two Postpartum visits - specific duties as requested, to include breastfeeding assistance or support, baby care basics, light housekeeping, or caring for baby while you rest.
Birth Supplies (i.e. birth ball, comfort measures, music, etc.)
Photographs upon request.
Other duties as determined during consultation.

Things I do NOT do:

I do NOT perform any medical procedures or carry any medical supplies.
I do NOT interfere with your needs or wishes.
I do NOT offer medical advice or interfere with medical professionals or procedures.
I do NOT undermine your partner's or any other family member's role at the birth.
I do NOT make false promises or minimize your feelings or concerns.
I do NOT abandon you if things get tough
