~  Mother  ~  Wife  ~  Daughter  ~  Sister  ~  Friend  ~ My husband, Scott, is in the Idaho Air National Guard and we are permanently rooted to the house of our dreams in Mountain Home, Idaho - where we joyfully share our days with our four children, various pets, shady trees, weedy gardens, and numerous wild birds.   Helping women and their families is my passion. I have been attending births both at home and in hospitals and birth centers since 1996. I became a La Leche League Leader in 2001 to help families have satisfying breastfeeding experiences.  I have been a student-mentor of the parenting experience for over 12 years, and started sharing what I'd learned with other parents in 1999.  In 2004 I became a Birthing From Within Mentor.  I have been a Certified Child-Passenger Safety Technician since 2007.  I also co-founded the Mountain Home Bellies to Babies group, a non-profit organization featuring monthly meetings and an online forum for pregnant and postpartum mothers.
