Helping women and their families is my passion. I have been attending births since 1996. I became a La Leche League Leader in 2001 to help families have satisfying breastfeeding experiences. I have been a student-mentor of the parenting experience for over 12 years, and started sharing what I'd learned with other parents in 1999. In 2004 I became a Birthing From Within Mentor. I also co-founded the Mountain Home Bellies to Babies groups, a non-profit organization featuring monthly meetings and an online forum for pregnant and postpartum women.

My husband, Scott, is in the Idaho Air National Guard and we are permanently rooted to the house of our dreams in Mountain Home, Idaho, where we joyfully share our days with our four children, various pets, shady trees, weedy gardens, and various wild owls. When things get a bit dull, I don my costume and rescue dinner as a Dominos delivery driver extraordinaire!
